Amazon’s early Prime Day sale is currently offering significant discounts on a curated selection of award-winning toys, providing shoppers with an early opportunity to purchase Christmas gifts at reduced prices. The deals, highlighted by MadeForMums, include steep savings on popular brands such as Fisher-Price, Mattel, and ZURU, with discounts reaching up to 63% on select items, similar to the savings found in our roundup of best toy kits Prime Day deals. These offers target high-demand categories including playsets, dolls, and interactive games, allowing families to spread holiday costs while securing items that have already received positive reviews from child testers.
The sale features a variety of high-value toys that have been recognized in the 2025 MadeForMums Toy Awards. Among the most notable discounts is the Doteki TOMY Multiplayer Battle Pack, which has seen its price drop from £29.99 to £11.02, representing a 63% saving. Other significant reductions include the Ravensburger Play+ Pretend Play Set, now available for £18.99 (down from £34.99), and the L.O.L. Surprise! Eye Spy Ultimate Unboxing, which has been reduced by £20 to £29.99. These price cuts apply to items that have already undergone rigorous testing for play value and durability.
For families looking for larger playsets, the Thomas & Friends Load & Launch Barrel Delivery Set is available for £39.99, a £15 discount from its original £54.99 price tag. This set, which earned a Gold award for best playset under £60, includes a motorized engine and 18 feet of track. Similarly, the Smoby My Beauty Centre 3-in-1 has been reduced to £100.14 from £129.99, offering a 23% saving on a substantial role-play item. These deals are particularly relevant for shoppers aiming to secure big-ticket items before the peak holiday season.
Smaller but still significant savings are available on interactive dolls and games. The BABY born Annabell 43cm doll is on sale for £53.99, saving £6, while the Exploding Kittens: The Board Game is available for £19.99, down from £24.99. The Clementoni Smart-Tech Greenhouse, a STEM-focused toy, has been reduced to £19.99 from £29.99. These items cater to a wide age range, from toddlers to older children, and reflect Amazon’s strategy to offer diverse options during the early Prime Day window, alongside other categories like other novelty Prime Day deals.
Strategic Early Holiday Shopping
This early sale allows consumers to spread the cost of Christmas gifts over a longer period, mitigating the financial pressure of December. By purchasing award-winning toys now, shoppers can avoid the last-minute rush and potential stock shortages that often occur during the holiday peak. The discounts on high-quality, tested items mean that families can access premium play experiences without paying full retail price, making it a practical strategy for budget-conscious parents.

2025 MadeForMums Toy Awards
The toys featured in this sale are not random selections; they were evaluated by MadeForMums families and child judges as part of the 2025 MadeForMums Toy Awards. This testing process assessed play value, age suitability, quality, and durability. The inclusion of these specific items in the Prime Day sale highlights a trend where retailers align discounts with independently verified high-performing products, giving consumers confidence that the discounted items are both popular and well-made.
“Our 3 year old has hardly stopped playing with it since it arrived, he’s completely captivated by the excitement and imagination it inspires.”

Price Volatility and Stock
Amazon prices are known to fluctuate rapidly during sale periods. It is not guaranteed that all listed discounts will remain available for the duration of the event. Additionally, stock levels for popular items may deplete quickly, and it is unclear which specific items will be restocked if they sell out. Shoppers should verify the current price and availability at the time of purchase, as the figures cited are based on recent observations.
Monitoring Deal Availability
Shoppers are advised to monitor prices closely if they have not yet made a purchase. As the early Prime Day event progresses, additional deals may emerge, or existing ones may expire. For those planning to buy multiple items, checking out early may secure the current discounts. Retailers typically announce the end date of such sales, but specific item availability can change without notice.
Key Questions
Are these toys suitable for all ages?
No, each toy has a recommended age range. For example, the Thomas & Friends set is for ages 3+, while the BABY born doll is also for ages 3+. Always check the packaging for specific age guidelines and safety warnings.
Why are these specific toys discounted?
These toys were selected because they were award-winning products in the 2025 MadeForMums Toy Awards. Their high ratings for play value and durability make them attractive for promotional discounts during major sale events.
Can I return these items if they don’t fit?
Standard Amazon return policies apply. However, return windows and conditions can vary, especially during sale periods. It is advisable to check the specific return policy for each item before purchasing.
Do I need a Prime membership for these deals?
These are described as Prime Day deals, which typically require an active Amazon Prime membership to access the exclusive pricing and shipping benefits. Non-members may see different prices or no discount at all.
