The Tommee Tippee Double Electric Breast Pump is currently priced at £99.98 on Amazon, down from its £149.99 recommended retail price. This 33% discount brings the award-winning device below the £100 threshold. The pump features six flange sizes, up to 90 minutes of cord-free use, and dual-breast expression capabilities.
The Tommee Tippee Double Electric Breast Pump is currently available for £99.98 on Amazon, a reduction of more than £50 from its £149.99 recommended retail price. This price drop places the device below the £100 mark, offering a 33% saving for parents seeking a high-performance expression solution. The pump recently earned Joint Gold in the MadeForMums Awards for Best Electric Breast Pump, validating its performance claims among parent testers.
The discounted model allows for simultaneous expression from both breasts, a feature designed to reduce pumping time for frequent users. It also offers the flexibility to switch to single pumping when preferred. The device includes five massage levels to initiate let-down and nine expression levels to adjust suction intensity. According to Tommee Tippee, the rechargeable battery supports up to 90 minutes of cord-free pumping, providing mobility for users who need to move around while expressing.
A key improvement in this latest version is the inclusion of six flange sizes, ranging from 13mm inserts to a 24mm flange. This addresses a common complaint from previous models, which often came with a single flange size that did not fit all users. The box includes a nipple measurement guide to help parents select the correct fit, alongside two 150ml Natural Start bottles that connect directly to the pump. The system features a closed design intended to prevent milk from flowing back into the pump mechanism.
Parent testers for the MadeForMums Awards highlighted the ease of assembly and the variety of fit options. One tester reported assembling the pump in under two minutes, while another appreciated the ability to switch between double and single modes based on daily needs. These hands-on assessments contributed to the pump’s Joint Gold award, distinguishing it in a competitive market of electric breast pumps.
Impact of Price Drop on Parent Budgets
For parents who rely on breast pumps for regular expression or building a freezer stash, the cost of equipment can be a significant financial barrier. Electric breast pumps, particularly double models, often carry premium price tags due to their motor complexity and battery life. By dropping below £100, this specific model crosses a psychological and budgetary threshold for many consumers who may have previously considered it too expensive.
The price reduction is particularly relevant given the pump’s recent award status. High-rated products often maintain their full price for longer periods. A discount of this magnitude on a Gold-award-winning device suggests increased competition in the parenting product sector or a strategic move by retailers to clear inventory. For buyers, this represents an opportunity to access verified high-performance technology at a mid-range price point, potentially saving enough to cover other postpartum essentials.

Evolution from Previous Tommee Tippee Models
This discount applies to the latest iteration of the Tommee Tippee double pump, which replaced the earlier Tommee Tippee Made For Me Double Electric Breast Pump. The previous model received a strong rating of 4.6 out of 5 in independent testing, scoring highly for durability and ease of use. However, testers noted specific drawbacks, including a single flange size that proved uncomfortable or ill-fitting for some users, as well as higher noise levels and the lack of a carry case.
The new model directly addresses the fit issue by introducing the six-size flange system. This change reflects broader industry trends toward personalized fit, recognizing that breast anatomy varies significantly among individuals. While the previous model was praised for efficiency—with one tester expressing 180mls in 12 minutes—the new version aims to combine that speed with improved comfort and customization. The current price point also undercuts many of its direct competitors, which often remain above £120 even during sales events.
Duration and Availability of Current Offer
It is not yet clear how long this £99.98 price point will remain active. Amazon prices are dynamic and can fluctuate based on inventory levels, competitor pricing, and promotional cycles. The source material explicitly notes that prices can change and products may sell out, meaning the current deal is not guaranteed to last. Additionally, while the pump is currently in stock, high demand following the price drop could lead to availability issues.
There is also no confirmation on whether this discount extends to other retailers or if it is an Amazon-exclusive offer. Consumers should verify the price at the time of purchase, as third-party sellers on the platform may list the item at different rates. The long-term durability of the new six-flange system compared to the older single-flange model remains to be seen over extended use, though initial testing was positive.
Verifying Price Before Purchase
Consumers interested in this deal should check the current price on Amazon immediately, as the £99.98 figure was correct only at the time of the report’s publication. Setting up price alerts may help track further reductions or price increases. Buyers should also verify that the seller is authorized to ensure warranty validity and product authenticity.
Parents considering this purchase should also assess their specific needs regarding flange fit and pumping frequency. While the six-size system offers flexibility, individual comfort varies. Reading recent user reviews can provide additional insight into the pump’s noise levels and battery performance in real-world scenarios, complementing the award-winning testing data.
